THE CONVERSATION is a collaborative correspondence of creative endeavour between a Canadian new-median and a Finnish moving-image artist. Their first piece (entitled above)  is an exploration of the most common existence of verbal communication, as well as the physical aspects that bind the two, regardless of context. Currently there are two forms that THE CONVERSATION existed in, both incorporated within the group show: 1<3 , the final show of the 2011-2012 incarnation of International Art Collaborations (INTAC) that appeared in Tampere, Finland as well as Toronto, Canada. The first was a component of the 2012 Tampere Art Factory (TAF), existing as a single-channel installation. The second (and main interpretation) appearing as a video-mapped sculptural installation for the 1<3 show as a part of the CONTACT Photography festival.
